Basically all supports provided by this chair are adjustable. It is wonderful not just for the initial setup, but also for adjusting if some days you feel like you want more resistance from the chair against your body and somedays you want less. The chair's support for your body's pressure points are excellent. I was using a rigid chair before that was starting to give me back pain, and since I started using the TOMU James Chair, I haven't felt any discomfort in my back... and I sit on this chair for around 10-12 hours every day.

Had the chair for a week. Easy to set adjustments while watching online videos. Was unsure until adjusted the seat pan, then, Ta-Da! Works well. and the packaging protects well against shipping damage and is all cardboard (recyclable) and plastic sheet cover. Best to have two people to lift out of the box.
